D&D Beyond Battle Sheet

Export any character to a print-ready battle sheet, spell book or DM monster sheet — with a drag-and-drop layout builder. Works in every browser.

Last updated: September 10, 2026

There are two ways to use Battlesheets, and both open the same app. The website needs nothing installed but reads public characters only. The bookmarklet takes one drag to set up and then reads everything, including your private characters.

Option 1 · On this website

Paste a character link

Drop in a D&D Beyond character URL and Battlesheets opens right here — the same screen the bookmarklet gives you, with the battle sheet, the layout builder and the spell book all in it. Nothing to install, and it works the same on a phone.

Public characters only — this site isn’t logged in as you, so that’s all D&D Beyond will hand over. If yours is private, either switch it to Public for a moment (Manage → Character Privacy) or use the bookmarklet below. Campaign and encounter links won’t work here — D&D Beyond keeps those behind your login entirely, so DM party printing and monster sheets need the bookmarklet.

Option 2 · In your browser

Install the bookmarklet

A bookmarklet is just a button you keep on your bookmarks bar. Open one of your characters on D&D Beyond, click it, and the same Battlesheets screen appears — but because it runs inside your own logged-in session it also reads your private characters, always shows the very latest changes, and works from an encounter or campaign page for DM monster sheets and party printing.
Always up-to-date β€” no reinstall needed when we push updates.

What you get

⚔ Battle SheetEverything you need mid-fight on one printable page: AC, HP, speed, initiative, attacks, spell slots, prepared spells with full text, proficient skills and saves, class features, feats and magic items.
🧱 Layout Builder (beta)Drag every card exactly where you want it, across as many pages as you like. Hide any row, rename a card, rewrite any description in your own words — with bold, italic, underline and a symbol picker — and add rows of your own. A Character Details card is here too — background, appearance, personality, bonds, backstory and notes — which the one-page battle sheet leaves off. Your layout is saved per character.
📖 Spell BookA full printable spell book with descriptions — or a custom one where you tick exactly which spells go in.
👺 Monster & Encounter SheetsFor DMs: every stat block in a D&D Beyond encounter, with HP trackers, plus the encounter’s own description. Custom picker and its own layout builder included.
👥 Campaign Batch PrintingEvery character in your campaign, and their encounters, as one document to print in a single go.
🌐 Generate from a linkPaste a D&D Beyond character URL at the top of this page — nothing to install, same app, works on a phone. Public characters only.
🎨 Themes & optionsColour themes for screen, colourblind-friendly palettes, text size, ability tile layouts, and control over which sections appear. Prints clean on paper either way.
{ } JSON ExportFull raw character data downloaded as a .json file.
